My old high school buddy (really) Howard Kalish has put together a great new CD! Check it out. Excellent fiddling and musicianship by HK and a top notch lineup of talent round out this fine new CD.

So where's my free copy Howard? I sent you one of mine.

Thanks Janice and Gerald - Thanks for the plugs.

Janice, we sure appreciate your taste in music down here in Austin.

Gerald, ol' pal, yours will be in the mail shortly. Howdy to Margaret and the kids. We took Corrina to college orientation today. Yikes!

Howard gave me a copy at our gig last night and I listened to it on the way home. Excellent record, made the miles fly by. Y'all should get one.

Herb - Thanks for the endorsement. Glad you enjoyed it. Makes some fine traveling music. Had fun at the gig Friday.

Janice and Gerald - Yours are on the way.

Frank - No trips to Michigan any time soon, but maybe someday. I've been enjoying the clips on your website. Do more.

Howard, judging from Judy's usuel speedy service I expect to have it in hand no later then Thursday.

The Pure Texas crew puts some great styles behind originals and mostly obscure covers.

I'm impressed with the honkey tonk treatment of It's Dark All Over the World and the Spade Cooley uptempo treatment of Cattle Call.

Unfortunently you can tell Don Walser is losing his range.

Howard this is long overdue.

Great job Howard! I got my CD in the mail yesterday and have been listening to it in my truck. Really enjoy it and it's great to hear you play. The band did a really good job as well and that's a really nice choice of songs too. Keep it up my friend and thanks for getting this recorded and out to us. Hope we get to pick together soon.

Your Partner, Bobby

Bobby - I'm so glad to hear that you like my CD 'cause I'm a mighty big fan of your playing. I'm very proud of the musician's on this record. They all played superbly and were real enthused about the songs. You can't hardly go wrong with guys like Floyd Domino, Rick McRae, Ernie Durawa, Lynn Daniel and my cohorts from the Pure Texas Band. Scott Walls on steel really tears it up. Thanks again I sure hope we get to do some gigs together soon.
