I think a lot of musicians get taken for granted, mainly because they just do their job, have fun doing it. Sammy Gibson is that and more. While he is having fun everyone around him usually is.What gets lost is this man is always ready to play ,put him on first or last, you get the same smile while he is playing and making it look easy.Sammy is one player that can make a three piece band sound like 5..I don't remember any bashes without Sammy Gibson, he probably is one of the first to be called. Sammy who wears a shirt that says "who the hell is Sam Gibson" does not have to worry about anyone really not knowing who he is. His playing is known all over the New England Area and he is a very popular guest at many other steel shows. This former PA native who makes his home and has a business in the Springfield Mass area reminds me of the energizer bunny. "He just keeps going and going"."actually playing and playing". Sammy is one of the best and as I stated above. A true "journeyman musician".One who can be called on to do a job and do it right.

Glad to be back, Smiles.
I'm back at work, for the first time in almost two years. So I'm online in the ofice right now. Hope to be back online at home soon.
Its been a rough couple of years, but I'm bouncing back, Just Slower bouncing, when you are a senior. You should know that better than anyone, since you are older than anyone.
