Johnny is out on the Electric Barnyard Tour with Connie Smith, Marty Stuart,Merle Haggard, BR549, and the Old Crow Medicine Show. They are in California for the next couple of days and I think they're in Oregon on Saturday. They still have several stops to make going across the country.

You can pull up some pictures and stuff about how the tour is going if you type in Electric Barnyard Tour and then click onto the icon that comes up. It gives me a chance to see how things are going for the guys. Johnny told me it was 116 degrees in Arizona on their first stop. If you all are in an area they're gonna be, go see the show. I'm sure it's really something. If you do happen to attend, please let us know how it was.

Thanks David..I found the schedule the other day for the tour and I have it close by where I know where they're at. I talk off and on each day to Johnny and he was telling me about Norm. They're getting to spend a lot of time together. Norm is a very nice guy and a great player. I wish I could be there to hear him with Merle.

Hi Joan-
They are to be in Chillicothe, Ill. on
July 20. Ive got my tickets.
I have a question- they say they have a
portable amphitheatre- do they have bleachers, or do you bring lawn-chairs
or what? This is in a park setting- there
is a pavillion, but it sounds like an
outdoor gig to me. (By the way, even
though you aren't coming, the rib invite
is still open, if he has time. If so,
tell him to give me a call at (309)
579-2043.
See you in St. Louie,

Hi Dean..I'll pass this along to Johnny again. He has said that a lot of their dates are outside, so this one may be outside also. I'll be sure and give him your number. I don't know what his time schedule is, but I tell him about the ribs invite. Thanks for the invite. See you in St. Louis.

Hi Joan, I got my tickets for the show on the 16th in Pueblo. I am hoping to get a chance to get a picture with Johnny, Norm and Don Herron. It will be a pleasure to see them all together on the same bill. It is being held on the Colorado State Fair Grounds, but in the open air. Hopefully it won't be too hot then. It has been in the 100's this past week, but you can never tell. If you talk to Johnny, tell him I will be looking him up when I get the show.

Best to you,

Dennis
