MAN! I just want to echo what Ben said, this is a great CD by Bryan. A Classic and one of those u never get tired of playing over and over. Bryan plays just enough tricks to keep it interesting but not tiresome. U can reach Bryan at 423-727-6093 or badams@optidynamic.com He has a deal on the CD w/tracks! $25 and that includes S/H!
Get em both they're great tunes to woodshed with.

Just got my copy today and I have to say that Bryan has cut a GREAT album here. There's not a bad song on it and the playing of all the musicians is wonderfull. This c.d. will get alot of play in my house. If you pick up this c.d. you'll be hearing one of my biggest heroes and if you don't then you're the one losing out.
This album is a must have for people who love uncluttered pure steel guitar the way it should be played.

Could someone tell us if this is E9th or C6th? Is it country or jazz, or both? Can you order the CD without the tracks?

Francis,

This c.d. is both E9 and C6 and is as good as you'll want to hear.
I'll give you a little background on B.A.
He's been playing since the '50's so he's not a newcomer and has been on the payroll of some pretty big names such as David Houston, Jimmy Dickens,Claude Gray, and Ava Barber. He worked for the Emmons Guitar Company several years and still plays around the East Tn. area doing live shows and recording sessions.
Bryan along with Jerry Staley and my cousin Tom Sweeney and Mike Calloway and Jerry Flemming were and still are my some of my biggest heroes.
The songs on this c.d. are,
"It's Only Love"
"Sweet Dreams"
"Another Bridge To Burn"
"Mansion On The Hil"
"Careless Hands"
"Invitation To The Blues"
"Death In The Family"
"Rainbow At Midnight"
"When Your House Is Not A Home"
"I Love You Because"

I think it's a great c.d. and if you like playing with tracks at home you'll like those too. The band is top notch.
Bryan's playing has always made me think of Jimmy Day. That's how much soul he plays with.
Mike

Mike,,,,,,Let me add a little more to the Bryan Adams soup pot of how long he has been out there.

One afternoon as I made my usual trip to the Airman's Club, at Tyndall Air Force Base, in Panama City, Florida, to check out some good ole country records and a turn table, I heard music coming from down the hall. I sat my stuff down in the room I was assigned and strolled down the hall. Keep in mind the doors had glass in them and I was able to see there were three guys in there pickin and grinnin.
Couldn't stand it so I opened the door and asked if I could come in and listen. Bryan spoke up and asked me if I played. Shortly after that, I arrived back at the hall with my J45, and from that day forth Bryan and I have been very close partners in crime. The year was 1961. Course, can't leave out the other part of the "DYNAMIC TRIO", Mike Hoover, how hails from John Hughey's neighborhood.
We have some funny, sad, bad, scary, and unbelieveable, stories stored in the ole memory banks but, we can get to those later.
Right now, let me say again that Bryan's new CD is as we say in South Alabama, "A SHO NUFF GOOD-UN"!!! And, I was kiddin about the box tops.

Well I just put a check in the mail for the CD's. When I saw the selection of tunes and the fact that Mike gives him such a name as
a good picker, I counldn't resist. I know that Mike would know a good picker when he hears one. I have a very close friend that took the bootcamp training under Mike's teaching and he says that he knew that Mike was a good picker, but didn't know that he was all that good untill he got in the training session.
