Mozilla fixes 11 new flaws in Firefox, 6 critical. Upgrade!

Mozilla on Wednesday patched 11 vulnerabilities in Firefox 3.0 -- and 12 bugs in the older Firefox 2.0 -- that could be used to compromise computers and steal information. The new version is 3.0.4, or 2.0.0.18. Use the built-in Check for Updates link found under the Help menu item to update your browser, or visit the Firefox home page and download a complete copy of the newest release.

You can install the new version over the old one. All of your settings will carry over, after you re-open the browser. Make sure all instances of Firefox are closed before you perform a manual update. Automatic updates do it all for you.

All of my Add-ons and Themes carried over from the previous version, 3.0.3.

If you are still using series 2, go to the older version download page, or upgrade from the browser itself.
