I've never used anything but stainless, so I can't compare to chrome, but there's a definate from one stainless bar to another. When I switched from a Dunlop bar to a Pearse "Thermo Cryonic" the difference in clarity and sustain was immediately apparent.

Bullet
How good are the Bullet Hard Chrome bars? or are they new enough that no one has tried one. I was thinking of buying one if it is good. A little more in my price range right now. Since I won't be making any money with it for some time.

Hey Bill,
I just viewed your site and was wondering how to determine what the best size bar is for me? I am a new player (10 months) using the bar that was given to me by the previous owner. It is an Earnie Ball but it seems small in my fat hands.('')
Also will you be at the Texas Steel Jamboree in Dallas this year?
Thanks

Hi Darrell,
The most popular (standard) bar is the 7/8",but you just answered your own question it's too small, so if I were you I would go with the 15/16" bar.
Yes I'm planning on Dallas if nothing comes up to prevent it.
See You there.
