Early MSA serial - PLEASE CLOSE

Got a really early pull-release MSA on my workbench. Haven't seen anything like it before. The serial is 1S127. Got any info about year and number och pedals and knees?

Your guitar is without question a very early MSA. Detail of records were not well kept at that time in our history.....All they say is that its a black guitar which was made for stock, but the eventual buyer was not entered into record.

I am a MSA owner but this particular one is only in for service. Is it possible to narrow down to a couple of years within it is made? 1970 - 72?
When did you start making them all pull?

Mathais..... I don't like to guess because I never want to mislead anyone. If you would like to send me pictures of both the top and bottom I will do my best to be more specific.

In further response, MSA has never made anything but an all pull guitar.

As you know, you can always reach me by going to the MSA website and clicking on my name if you prefer not to post the pictures.

Ford.... You know its common knowledge I can be reached by simply going to the MSA website. With that in mind, your transparent intent to use this public forum while attempting to pursue your personal agenda becomes totally obvious. Everyone also knows there's two sides to every story.

As far as your other post a day or so ago is concerned, I was not even aware of its existence. I don't have time to constantly monitor the forum, but those who write me through MSA always receive top priority, and you know that to be true as well.

Thru pictures, Reece has concluded that the guitar I'm working on is a really advanced copy of a seventies MSA Classic as far as workmanship goes. It is a crossbreed between a real MSA and a pull/release guitar. Must have been made by someone who really liked "the sound of the push-pull" but who loved the looks of a MSA

Mathias, I would be interested also in seeing the pictures. IMHO, the MSA Classic series still sets the standard for machining and design, and it would be fun to see the "different approach" that someone else tried, swapping the changer for a different (but older) design.
