No One Will Ever Know
well, first of all it is a finely written song by two experts at the business of writing hits. This really a hit.
I believe that Rome Johnson was a West Coast singer with a really fine voice he even put it some time singing with The Sons of the Pioneers.

I recorded a few sessions with Rome Johnson at King Records in Cincinnati back in the late 40's and early 50's, and we later became close friends. If my memory hasn't failed me, Rome was the first to record "No One Will Ever Know." He had a deep, resonant, baritone voice -- not unlike Vaughn Monroe. He passed away back in the '90's.
