Reminds me of those days when I would go to Himmelreiche's Grove or Shorty Long's Ranch and see Hank Williams, Carl Smith, Webb Pierce and all the other famous names of that time. If I lived back in PA I'd be there ever time there was a show and try to steal some of Tom's steel licks !!

Those truely were "the good old days", traveling around to all those 'Country-Music' Parks and Carnivals, with people like Tex Carson, Curley Herdman and Dick Rich! That's one thing I really do miss! The only thing to top that for me was working the Opry for (4) years!
