80's Thomas D10 8X5

Post by Ron Spears »

I have a Thomas D10 available that plays and sounds great. It's gray and has 8 pedals and 5 knee levers. This guitar really stays in tune! It is in tip top working order and very clean for a 20 year old guitar. It has been a pure joy to play but I've purchased an Emmons and have to let this one go. I'd like to get $1600 for it but I'm open to serious offers.

Thomas Pedal Steel guitars

Post by Al Vesel »

I know that this guitar is from the 80's and there are a couple of newer Thomas' on the forum now that are the NEW GENERATION SERIES 11?

Can anyone tell me what has changed and improved over the years to warrant the new name, etc.?

These are great looking guitars and they look very well built.

Ron you are correct about these guitars being well built. Mine is a 92mdl-- I got it in 94--- I have not had one problem with mine and I play just about everyday. If I could justify the money spent, I would set it beside my old blue Thomas-- my best to you--- Roger

DANG!!! Every time I'm gear rich, but strapped for cash, a nice Thomas always comes up for sale. :(

That is a slick guitar & Thomas' are built to last.
