Coated fingerpicks

Post by Andy Hinton »

Good morning Mr Schmitt:
Please try again. I know you have to use paypal so just log on to it & send to( andyhinton_@hotmail.com ) I just noticed the email add. I posted above is missing the underscore between hinton & @. Thats probably why it didn't go.
Thats-- andyhinton_@hotmail.com Thanks for your interest. Andy H.

Just noticed; the automatic underlineing of the adress is covering the underscore. Don't have a clue how to remedy that. Can you help bob? Thanks Andy H.

Andy, Thanks very much. After playing Nationals for over 70 years, yours may just stick on. I have lost a few over the years, right on the dance floor, playing my D8 non Pedals and reaching out to the top neck for that 13th., CRUSH, CRUSH. Not much good after that. Thanks again...al. :D :) 8)

Coated picks

Post by Andy Hinton »

Hey Al: been there done that. Think most every Steeler thats played honky tonks & or dances has lost some to big feet. That was my main thought when I started this project. Also had no idea I would get the response that I have. Hope I can keep up with all of it.
Guys; I'm having getting the messages from paypal. Don't know why unless the email address is not comming out right. In the posts above, the underscore metween my name & the at sign is being covered by the long underline. You get it right if you go to my profile on the Forum.
The lighter guage picks arrive tomorrow. They will be ready to ship by Monday.
Thank you all for your interest. Andy H.

Coated fingerpicks

Post by Andy Hinton »

Folks: I'm beginning to get frustrated with paypal. I've had 5 or 6 people email me saying they have sent funds for x sets of picks ,starting with Scott Appleton the first of last week & only one from Billy Henderson in Arkansas has come thru to my computer. Every one that has come by US postal svc. (ie) snailmail has been recieved & shipped. Most have recieved their picks. I don't know what to do about this but I don't want anyone to lose their money either. Guess we'll keep trying a few more days.
Thanks Andy H.

Thanks Allen: I'll look forward to getting it. I'd rather get stuck here with 300 new picks which ain't all that cheap wholesale than have a bunch of brother Steelers mad at me or lose money trying to send it & not getting where it's supposed to go.
The mail route ain't so bad in the USA, just slower & not quite as convenient, but for the Guys in Europe & other Countrys, it would be next to imposible. Sure hope you've got the fix. Andy H.

Andy, just got home from work today and got your picks. All I can say is they are just GREAT!!!!!!! I will get some more and since there is not a big rush, to avoid any Pay Pal problems, I assume cash is still accepted :D . I was concerned that the inside of the picks might tend to rub on each other. NO PROBLEM. Great product!! Thanks!
Keep pickin', Larry

Coated fingerpicks

Hi fellow Steelers:
First I want to appoligize to all of you that have tried to order the picks thru Paypal,
In at least 3 posts above I've been omitting the number 6 in my paypal & PM address. Two fellows accidentally got it right and the funds came right to my paypal acct. which emailed me a prompt on it.
I lost a nights sleep worrying about it. My son found the problem in 10 minuets.
In order to save a lot of time emailing each; please try one more time using my correct paypal address of; (andyhinton_6@hotmail.com).
Again I'm sorry for this delay & will process all requests as fast as I can. Ahdy H.

Hi Andy, in an attempt to save your son from havin' to listen to anymore of those minuets, I sent a check. I can't stand that fancy French music. :) (no offense, Crowbear)

Larry; I was so tired & disgusted over my mistake posting my email wrong 5 times, I forgot to answer your question. If you or anyone else wants to take the chance mailing cash I'll sure accept it. You're the third to do that. kinda surprized me. AndyH.

What about thumb picks? I have trouble with them sliding around. I didn't have that trouble when I did a lot of physical work and had rougher hands.
Paul Yandell suggested wetting the thumb. That helps a lot.
I've had some success with commercial products to make the picks "sticky". For instance "Gorilla Snot". That's the actual name on the container.

Paul: It might work but for now just doing the fingerpicks is keeping me snowed under. Think I'll let someone else tackle that one. for now. Maybe Chuck Bratain would be enterested to go with his Bar & pick cases. Thanks for asking. Andy H.
