Steve was playing his pretty red MSA at the Circle Bar in NOLA last night with Gal Holiday and - wow! He was great! Very tasteful, very in the pocket. Great show, Steve! |

Hey, Leo. Delighted. Give me a shout next month. Is that for real about the festival? I hadn't heard that the Po Boy was an endangered sandwich.

Dan,I stumbled across your post while searching another topic. Thank you for your kind words, it was great to see you at the gig. It`s rare to have another steeler in the house, in fact, I get the impression most of the folks at my jobs have never seen a steel live. I find myself giving mini-seminars about the instrument to the curious. Usually I get guitar nerds, wish it was pretty girls instead.. |

I've heard Steve with Gal and the Honky-Tonk Revue. One of the best groups playing music in New Orleans. Steve sure does play tastefully, too. Gets a great tone from that MSA Millenium (and it's a pretty red, too).Steve....keep up the good work and tell Gal and the gang "Hello" from me, and if they come to Baton Rouge to at least give me a holler so I can come and hear them........HAL _________________ HAL...Excel D-10 w/ 8 & 5.
