Fellow forumites, I will be in Bend Oregon for the next several days helping finish the build on a new Lancair Evolution turboprop we're buying.

Hey Mickey,

I take it you've been to Bend before....I notice you play Breedlove guitars. They're great aren't they! I just toured the factory a couple of months ago when I was there for a gig. Bend is beautiful country. By the way, thanks for the youtube instructionals. You are the very first lesson I came across on the net when I started playing about 6 months ago. I'm addicted now!

Yep Ive been to Bend...Ive been playing Kims guitars for about 8 years. I currently have a Gerhard model. Unfotunately I dropped 2 people and came directly back to Dallas last night. I will be going back to pick up the Lancair when its completed in March. At that time I will spend 2 weeks in Bend getting trained...Looking forward to spending some time in Oregon...i need to get up to Portland to see Mr Lee as well....Mickey

One of the great western swing steel players of all time, Bobby Koefer, lives in Bend.

a band i play with occassionally drove up to a country club just south of bend recently. played a set or two after a wedding and made 500+ apiece...stayed at the featherbed inn 50 miles south on 97...went home a happy band!
