Hi Guys.
I'd very much like to try Buddy's settings for my MPX 1. Does he actually have to have the unit there or can it be done via the Forum or the net ?.
It's a little intimidating as far as programming is concerned, and while I've got a superb reverb setting, I'd like a delay channel and a combined delay and reverb channel with a little EQ.
Thanks

HI Barry,
Sad to say you send your unit to get the settings. He does not have the midi capability to do a sysex dump and save it to a file.
If he did then he could send that file to you and you basically load it into the Lexicon.

I sent my MPX1 to Buddy and included a paid return shipping label with it. I got it back with the installed programs in less than a week from start to finish! Heck, as I recall, I spent more time thinking about sending the unit than it took for it get done. So, I'd suggest - just do it and send it. By the way, Buddy's a great guy and honest as they come. |

if you decide sending yours to him, make sure you notify customs that it's leavin ' & returnin' back so they don't hit you twice w: customs fees |

Hi Guys
Thanks for the info' and advice.
Catch 22 really. I'm in the UK and need the MPX weekly on the road. The $ rate makes it an expensive excercise to send it stateside.
I think I'll just have to experiment and burn the old midnight oil and experiment.
Cheers
