Thanks for posting that as you did. When I talked to George yesterday, he knew the guitar right away. He said the pickups may not have been his, if they were anything other than 8 pole.

It was for all practical purposes, a "One Owner." And since I've had time to recall my memory, I believe that most everyone who ever stopped by to visit George, probably seen that guitar. (Under the Sheet) I (now) recall seeing it many times.

While I'm posting, George told me the last guitar he sold went to (George called him by name) a Pedal Steel player, who was working on a job (or set) for the "The Best Little Whore House In Texas." He had it flown out to him, and when it was being unloaded off the plane, it was dropped from a fairly high distance. The one end of the case took one heck of a hard hit and got torn up pretty bad, but the Pedal Steel was in fine shape, not a mark on it. I forgot to ask him what year that would have been..

George sell is my grand pop. I sit here and read these things and just smile. He is in the hospital and last night I just read him some stuff that everyone says about him. I love it. I was wondering how I can get my hands on one of his steel guitars. I have been looking for a long time. If anyone knows please let me no. I want my kids to see what their ggpop made back on the day. Hi everyone. I talked with a few people on here by phone and email. I am george sells granddaughter. I have been trying to get one if his guitars. Him and I were very close and it would mean the world to me. George sell passed away this morning. I wanted to let u know. Also if anyond of you know of anyone selling one, pleaee let me know.
