FYI ..... fellow lap steelers .....
I haven't seen this in person so who knows if there are any "issues" with it. I wish I could snag this myself but I can't so just passing on a tip for one of the all-time great lap steels at a pretty fair price.

I've been eyeing that one for a number of months. It has volume and tone controls and I don't have a prewar one like that. I've been thinking of calling them about it, but you know I might just need some cash tomorrow or the next day. I'll just have to think about it tomorrow, again.  |

| That is a pretty decent price. Not to be too nitpicky but if anyone goes for it, you might point out that one of the knobs is wrong. It also looks like a couple of screws are missing which might suggest some funny business with the wiring. Maybe not but it's really easy to cross thread the bakelite bodies. Also, I've never seen Sta-tites on a B-6 before, they're probably right but I'd look 'em over carefully as the more common seven-sided buttons often deteriated and the Grovers might be replacements. |
