......radio announcer that its the "Grand Ole Opry" not the "Gran Old Opry" !! The "D" is dropped from "Old" not from "Grand". While we're at it, I am sick of hearing people call it the "Grand Old Opera" too!

While they are at it they can tell Eddie Kilroy to put his darn cowboy coffee away at Willie's Place. One reason I have XM is so I don't have to listen to that crap. If i wanted that I would listen to regular radio and Bob and Tom.

XM is great when your on the road a lot like I am but I agree the cowbow coffee talk needs to go. I like the classic country but they can keep the cowbow coffee and popping the bottle caps!

I get a little annoyed at the cowboy coffee, "buy xxx a beer" schtick. On the other hand, I am grateful that XM provides a venue of exposure for artists who deserve to be heard but would never get mainstream FM or AM airplay. The good certainly outweighs the bad.

While you guys are talking to XM Radio, can you ask them why they don't play Darius Rucker on Willie's Place?

Dudes -

You need Sirius satellite radio.

I've been driving my son's car lately which has XM; I have Sirius in mine. I know, I know , the companies have merged but who knows when they'll figure out the programming.

If you listen to "Willie's Place" regularly, you'll love Sirius' "Roadhouse" and "Outlaw Country" with guest DJs Scooter Jennings, Steve Earle, David Allan Coe et al. Plus, Sirius has Howard.

Yeah, that cowboy coffee thing is annoying - I bought satellite to get away from that crap.

I've got both, and IMHO, the Country Music selection on XM is far broader, more innovative and diverse than Sirius by a wide margin. But like I said, just my opinion. BTW, my original comment was not about programming, it was in regard to the XM "house" announcer mispronouncing the name of
"the mother church of country music" during station breaks. Downright sacreligious, don't ya think?
