Aubrey and Lori Ghent

I caught the Ghent show at the Roots/Blues/BBQ festival in Columbia, MO last Friday and I have to say they do an excellent show! I don't know how Aubrey pulls so much feeling and emotion out of a simple lap steel, but he does. The vocals are great, the B3 backup is great, and the rhythm section is superb. I met the band after the show and they are so humble, down to earth, and just plain nice! I would love to see them participate in some of the big steel shows; I think they would bring the house down!
