It is, it's the third one Paul built. Where'd you get that pic, Nick?

Here's one in 1990 at LSI, I had the Emmons for a brief period.

Do you still have Franklin #3?

And do you ever get tired of them calling you Mikey?

Yes, I do, but Paul stamped them with numbers as he sold them, not as he built them, so it wears # 011...

... and no, it doesn't... at least it derives from my name. Many of our brethren's nicknames don't relate to their names at all.

Hey Mike, were you Tammy's steel player when she did a show at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk with the Virginia Symphony around the early to middle nineties? I remember one of the female backup singers did a great version of "Piece of My Heart" and the band really nailed the arrangement. That must have been a great experience working with a Symphony Orchestra.

I was in the local opening group "The Buck Fisher Band". That was a great venue for a concert as the acoustics were so great.........JH in Va.

Where do I start? Thanks, D Dogg; it was a true dream. She was terrific.

The name of the band was "The Country Gentlemen."

I was with her from May of 1980 through October of 1987. That was Rusty Pence after me. Before me was Sonny Curtis. We were the only steelists Winking she had.

Theresa, I figured you'd like the guitar... Laughing

Damir, yes, we need to do that...

Very Happy Rolling Eyes Whoa!

Mikey : I agree with all the above members of the Forum; you are great; especially your work with Tammy. I see you a couple of times with Billy Walker up in Sandstone, Minn, I believe it was/ Not only do you play a fine steel but you're fabulous on the Harmonica. Thamks for sharing those clips of Tammy with us. Surely bring back many memories of the good Country Music Days; right?? Are you working with any one in particular these days, Mickey ?

Bernie, yes, I have Sandstone pics with Billy... I sure do miss him. He was so great to work with. They all were.

I don't travel with anybody regularly, I'm pretty much just a studio slug. I do the occasional date with a young gal, Laura Bryna, now and then. This coming Sunday, the 12th, I'll be in Chicago for a couple hours doing some big festival show with another young up and comer, Megan Nicole. It should be fun; it better be!
