PSGA Show

Post by Herby Wallace »

I am already getting anxious for this great show again. I must say that this is one of the finest steel guitar shows in the Country. It is first class in every respect and it is always an honor and thrill for me to get to play it. As always, the band at this show is one of the finest I get to work with and that to me is one of the most important parts of making a steel guitar show a success. I hope to see many of you there this year.

Herby Wallace

I will also be playing the new Mullen HWP G2, and if anyone would like to check it out, you can try it at the show.

Well I sure would like to get to one of these shows before I forget I know how to play steel. :) It's been too long for me. This show has always been done well with great talent as well as great people. Best of luck.

This is the big daddy of Northeast steel shows and through the years has been one of the bigger shows..Most NE steel shows are in existance now because of the success of Bobs dream...Hopefully this show will have its greatest support ever certainly the line-up is stacked..

This needs a bump to the top of all the others. Bob Maickel and the PSGA have been supporters of the Steel Guitar and Steel related events back when the Steel was almost unheard of here in the Northeast. This year's show might not have 20 world famous players but we have a group of WONDERFUL pickers and lots of SOUL!!! Check out www.psga.org

To me this is the greatest and best show of all the Steel Guitar shows.
You are right up close to the players and all are more than happy to chat with you.
The band is one of the best there is.
They are all pros at what they do.
I have helped with many of the shows when I lived up there and I seriously miss all my friends and officers and staff of the PSGA.
They are like family to me.
I just wish I could make the 1200 mile trip to the show this year.
I do wish Bob, John, Darlene & Jeff the best show ever.
Thanks for letting me be a part of it for so many years.

Thanks for all the kind remarks and good wishes. Just 2 weeks to go until show time!

Al....Jody Carver was invited to attend, I spoke with him very recently, unfortunately for us, he is going on a cruise with his daughters and will be at sea during our show. Jody also had recent knee surgery, so the cruise will serve as some therapy.

We have a fine line-up of pickers and are looking forward to our 35th annual steel guitar event.

Bob, My best wishes for a really great show. With the line-up of folks you have it should truly be a super time.
Mike, as always, will serve up a fine line as the MC, and my good friend Herby Wallace just never gets boring. I hope he brings plenty copies of his new CD, because it is a great collection of music. If I remember correctly he does 5 C6th and 5 E9th songs and leaves nothing on the table....
Wish I could be there........
