I have been seeing some other players with these extra long finger picks. Where can I get myself some of these or how and who can make em? I broke my hand last year and it is difficult to manuver with the stiffness I have .

Dwight, there are picks that grab your fingers up higher (if this is what you mean). They come from John Pearse, and they're called "High Rider" picks. They're stainless steel in stead of the nickel (I think) normally used. I used them for years, but it seems to me that the regular picks give the strings a better sound--a little more zing. Could be my imagination, though.

I have seen Bruce Bouton with one on his middle finger. It is about a half inch from the finger tip. Better for a closed hand picking I am assuming.
