Ken,
I will get a set of the Hawaiian tabs in the mail for you today.
I think you will enjoy them.
These are some of the same songs I learned steel guitar on many years ago.
I always used to play them non-pedal but decided to make them available for the pedal steel.
They are full of three strings chordal patterns and sound quite nice.
Thanks so much and a slip will be in the package as to total with postage. :D
Take care,
Erv

Tabs

Hey Erv, I am very intrested in learning A bunch of Hawaiian songs. But, I think the C6 neck sounds a little more Hawaiian. I love the sound of the thick strings. Thats not to say I don't also love them on the E9th neck.
So, do you have any songs tabbed out on both necks?

Jim,
I agree that C6th is great for Hawaiian songs but the reason I did them in E9th is because that's the most popular pedal tuning being played today.
If you really want to get back to the roots of Hawaiian music, you should be using the A tuning. That's the tuning I learned on when I started playing the "Hawaiian" guitar over 50+ years ago.
I'm sure you would enjoy playing Hawaiian in E9th. :D

Lee,
Thank you so much.
I started playing Hawaiian songs on a lap guitar in A major tuning some 50 years ago.
It was brought to my attention that nobody has really done much in the line of Hawaiian tabs for the E9th pedal tuning, so I got busy.
I write my tabs in a chordal fashion and I think this compliments Hawaiian music quite nicely. :D
