Just saw another nice looking album offered on eBay with none other than Paul Carie, standing behind his EMMONS.
WHO IS/WAS HE?
NEVER HEARD of HIM!
Where was he famous?

Brint, is it possible that you come from Vermont, where people are known to be, "Close Chewers & Tight Spitters", like Calvin Coolidge?????

Brint can actually be quite loquacious at times, I've actually heard him first hand string together entire sentences!!!! |

..and living in Nebraska. My wife is from Atkinson, Nebraska. Small world.
I used to spend many hours on Temple Meads station in the 50s. There were no diesels then. |

Sorry my post titles have failed to measure up to YOUR expectations or requirements....... 'hope to do better in the future.
Whenever I hear of a 'new steel player', I get excited about getting to hear them play for the first time. I don't mean 'newbie' but rather, a working musician that has remained a virtual unknown in my part of the big, vast, LEFT COAST world.
There are so many truly masterful steel players out there that have remained for years, in the background behind some nebulous vocalist star......that seeing them break-out, into the public's eye, is most refreshing, to say the least.
Thanks for auctioning his album and giving him some deserved publicity. NOW, can we hear him play? |
