cannot upload pix's ??

trying to upload pix's on to the forum getting
this strange message

" server was timed out"

Sometimes stuff happens. The SGF server sometimes out or gets overloaded by excessive simultaneous connections and queries. Sometimes it is affected by problems with the upstream providers' equipment (relays, routers, DNS servers), or even accidentally cut cables.

If the website is totally unavailable for a period of time, the server may have crashed and is awaiting a restart, or "recompiling" of the Apache web server.

There are occasions where the disk that holds the images and avatars goes down and has to be replaced with a backup unit.

When you encounter any error messages to do with the SGF patience becomes a virtue. Wait a while then try again.
