I build this guitar with a drill press and home tools,(,changer,fingers,neck,body,bellcranks, pedals, rods and everything else except for the support bridge, nut roller bridge, fretboard,pickup and legs that i took from my old Maverick.

Charles Smith, thats a pretty combo on the wood with the quilted maple aprons and curly maple decks. I was wondering where you got the quilted maple from? I used to buy it from Northwest Timber but they got so expensive I had to look elsewhere. Still havent found a decent supplier. Martin.

Martin, I did some work and/or traded something for it, a long time ago. I made that guitar sometime around 1995, the neck and top plate are machined from a single plank.

If you think wood is expensive, wait until you price titanium tubing. I originally intended this to have 5 peds and 4 knees, but the more I thought about the kind of music that I was going to be playing with it, I decided to just put a variation of a diatonic tuning on the 12 string neck and be done with it. The 8-string bass neck can do some damage:
