Any suggestions what to use as a replacements for the position dots that are missing from the fingerboard of a Model B?

JB always recommended "White Out" typewriter correction fluid though.

And, I can assure you, the White Out works just fine.
The day I first brought my 8 str. Bakelite to my lesson and bemoaned the fact that I'd probably thrown out 2 markers with the packing, Jerry quickly splooged them up. Viola, instant story to bore people with who know nothing about steel or JB.

My wife used some of her craft paints.........to plug the holes left when the dots fell out.

They're hi-gloss.............easy to see and work well. Oh, they're cheap!
