Those old string-through pickups really scream, especially if you install Rick Aiello NIBros or remags.
You should get it! - if you don't, you'll only squander the money on food and bills . . 
Tell her it's an investment. These vintage lap steels are going up in value all the time.

I would like to get it but it is like an hour drive and I am not a huge fan of anything in the MOTS finish. If it was near my house I probably would snag it up.
If one could get it for $120 that is equal to the price of one of those little damn hummels. Or a couple cartons of smokes, or two tanks of gas.
I just thought I would let anyone near Ann Arbor know because if you compare it to something like this......
