I just got back from the Convention and Nashville so the post about Leo was going on while I was out so I didn't get to respond.First of all, I've known Leo for almost 40 years. While some things he posts at times can't seem to be understood by some, cut him some slack, please!Leo's one of the nicest and sweetest persons I've ever met and dang well would give any of you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it.He does use live music on sessions as I can well attest to.... Leo used me on quite a few sessions on both steel and guitar as well as mandolin when I lived in the SoCal area.
Legendary guitarist Al Bruno as well as Jay Dee have played on projects for and with Leo.
I first knew LJ as a drummer and he was a pretty good one in his day before concentrating more on lead guitar. He's become a pretty fair picker from what I heard the last time I was in California.
All in all, remember, Leo's a "C--N A-S" from Louisiana and they bend the English language a little as we all know. He's a family man who's got a couple of elementary school age daughters who love their daddy although he's old enough to be their grandpa.
Leo has always been pretty well connected in the music industry and has always paid the musicians well for the sessions they played on. I know that I was never stiffed by him on any project and I don't know of anyone else who ever was. I know that most of you don't know hime as I do and definately not for as long as I have but I'm proud to be his friend........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

Thank you, Jerry, for posting this. I really appreciate it. I don't even know the man, but from his posts, I would sure call him a friend. Again, thanks for doing this. I'm sure Leo will appreciate it, also.

Brother Jerry Hayes,Thank you for your kind words of true brotherhood friendship. I do appreciate your support and your imput on me. I can take the heat! See,I know who I am and what I have done and that's all that matters to me. Living in the same habitat with alligators and snakes as a kid has helped me to understand and read humans as for who they real are in thier own words and action. For me,Bobby Lee knows who I am and If I'm to far out of line like anybody else,I'm sure he'll take the right legal action of any matters. Some people in this world are just what they are, trouble makers and that's okay with me,because you know where they stand. This is a pullic forum to the world and that where some on here don't get it. I'm just here not as a soapbox task, but,to help heal and educate the young from the old to understand what they won't get anywhere else for free. I am a recration humor onset with honesty of taking head on head outskirts. God take care of everything just like Mother nature. Sincerely in Country Music and all Styles, peace,Leo J.Eiffert,Jr. |
