That's the grocery store rag that's owned by the National Enquirer, isn't it?

Dear Pete Finney, with true respect to you and all my friends who live in and outside of Nashviile. No -and I mean no I am not getting paid one big red cent from these Artist Bucky Covington nor Heidi Newfield nor from there record company or anyone. I know these artist personally as friends and that is why I promote them. They don't have a Steel Guitar Musician in the band and hopely in helping them they'll beable to afford one. Most of you guys are just to seenic and guick to judge. LJ.

Well then LJ, I humbly apologize... I shouldn't have posted that last night (even if I thought it) and decided to delete it first thing this morning.

What are you trying to insinuate, Ron? You guys all piled on me before, and now you're trying to do it again. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. If I'm right, then let's get it over with. I've deleted my posts, except one, about "Country Weekly" being owned by the "National Enquirer" folks. That is a fact. Just what do you mean, "ain't that noose too high?" You making some kind of threat, that you can't stand behind? Talk about one trick ponies. You, Sevigney, and a hangman's noose.
As I said, if I'm wrong then I apologize. If not, I'll stand behind EVERY word I've posted. I expect the same from you, and Sevigney. And here, on the Forum, and NOT by PM, as you did before.

Stephen........I am not insinuating anything.I meant that as a joke.I hope your not going paranoid on me.

I stand behind every joke Stephen and I never make threats either.I think that you are looking at my reply from a different perspective.
I saw that picture Richard put up as a joke.Nothing was meant with my reply. And as far as my pm to you goes. That was sincerely meant.I told you that no-one should threaten you on the forum.

I don't have to hide anything.....

Keep a smile on your face Stephen....it makes life better and more enjoyable.

Sincerely,

Ron

Not "going paranoid," Ron. I tried to be a nice guy in the thread that I started, and when you ALL tried to crawl my butt, I tried to explain that you guys didn't get my point. Well, this isn't MY thread to close. That means it'll stay open till b0b closes it, or the one who started this thread asks that it be closed. I deleted EVERY POST of mine in this thread, and have apologized to Mr. Finney for quoting him. I will apologize to no one else here, and will respond to every one of your, and anybody else's, in kind. I'm smiling as I write this, Ron. Very Happy Laughing, in fact, at how you lead each other around like lemmings. THAT'S A JOKE, AND I STAND BEHIND IT!!(whatever that means)

I sure don't want this to be consided piling on..Bucky Covinton with a top 50 yet alone a top 1000 hit is a joke. Sad It shows how bad the Country scene is hurting...Nothing against anyone liking him we all have different taste...But for mine Bucky simply is over promoted into a market that easily accepts here today gone tommorrow throw aways, I won't say Artist...He isn't even a good fence painter although he appears on stage dressed as one...And sounds like an out of work Hog caller.. Laughing Sanjiya should make a Country album.. Sad

this is nothing new...i thought it was wrong when they tried to create a star out of fabian!

Not that it's bad for "country music" as an industry to have Kid Rock, Darius Rucker, a couple of bleach blonde bimbos, and Lord knows who else with current tunes getting radio play up here.(I guess it's the same all over) It really does bring in new listeners, but that said, these new listeners think that this is country music and that's where I have problem.
The only people that benefit from all that stuff is the major labels, studios, session pickers, radio, and couple of band wagon jumpers that can't get played anywhere else.
I just hate having that stuff crammed into my ears. I know some of you just refuse to listen "country radio", I think it's a little narrow minded. I try to listen to everything I can..once! When my ears get tired or full, I play what I want to hear..
