I just don't see how any guitar is worth $150k. I would like to have a peak at this one myself.

Any person who has $1.5K to blow on a guitar probably won't worry about paying b0b 2.5%. Chump change for some. Not me, but for some. Bill Gates for example could probably afford it.

Then again, my brother lived in Vegas for a spell and said that Bill would come into the casinos and play blackjack at the dollar table. So on second thought, he probably wouldn't buy it either.

My Uncle Geno had his '49 Broadcaster stolen in 1962. Then his '56 Tele stolen in 1998. Now he plays a G&L I gave him... I'll never pay that kind of money for a guitar, because it's too dangerous, to scuff it, play it, whatever... and guitars were made to be played, not looked at.

Anybody wanna buy a beat to hell pink paisley MIJ 80's Tele, bastardized with EMG's and a P/W bender for $50,000.00 lol
I'll sell it! and you can play the hell out of it... cuz it's already ugly!

You know, someday, someone will be trying to get that kind of money out of these guitars...

For over priced guitars I think that this eBayer is in the top 5.

$150,000 for a 1940 Martin D-28

$675,000 for a Gibson (Lloyd Loar) F-5 Mandolin

$1,000,000 for a 1941 Martin D-45

$3,750,000 for a 1930 Martin OM-45

The OM-45's description says "was favored by celebrities such as Roy Rogers", then shows a picture of Roy holding one. The guitar in the isn't Roy's guitar, but for almost $4 million it should be Roy's guitar and come with the remains of Roy stuffed and mounted like Trigger.

BTW I'm am NOT affiliated with this seller in anyway, I'm just dumbfounded by his prices.

I've bought a few muscle cars on Ebay, and when anything cost $20k plus, it's usually a private auction. Out of my price range!
I wonder what happens if someone accidentally bids one one of the these? Is it in US dollars or Mexican Pesos? cus it might be a good deal in Pesos...

BTW it's a federal offence to misrepresent a listing over the internet. That guy is selling on egg shells.

That 1930 Martin 0M-45 Deluxe has a current book value of $315,000 (in excellent condition) according to the VGM price guide. It's in beautiful condition... but it's not worth 3.7 million!

There's a guy up in Charlotte, NC, that owns the "Peter Greene/Garry Moore" '59 Les Paul. He takes it to guitar shows, and hangs a 1,000,000.00 price tag on it. He also had Jerry Garcia's Christmas Tree amp, I think he wanted about 75 grand for it.
