I think shot told her it was a 35 0r 36 great looking lap with an old black hard case that has a E in the inside top that looks like a epiphone emblem the pickup looks like a old fender tele pickup and this thing looks all original has 2 knobs one volume the other says soft mellow master voicer brilliant can someone tell me what it might be worth and just what it is ser# is 6298 Electra ZEPHYR the keys are great closed back and is stamped with a E like epeiphone metal tag on back reads messner inventions inc Millburn NJ has felt pad on back and pad on back of neck mail me at billrt@centurytel.net sometimes that is the only way I get my mail.

I own two Epiphone lap steels. one is a Century Electar the other a Zephyr. your serial code and dates are about right.

my Century is the black steel. the Zephyr is yellow. that lap steel is a fine player. I had the pickup rewound by Lindy Fralin. it roars.

on eBay they sell for around 350$. Vintage Guitar magazine has them going from 250 in worn condition and 450 in top shape.
