I was on youtube this morning and heard a Japanese steel player who is quite good. His name is Setsuo Ohashi. He had a uke player on one of the tunes who was really great also. He apparently has a few albums out.
Check him out.
He was playing what appeared to be a Fender Deluxe six.

I have several of Ohashi's LPs plus several of Buckie Shirakata's LPs including a beautiful 5 or 6 LP set in a blue vinyl carrying case. Among over 100+ assorted Japanese LPs including the 15 LP RCA set issued in Japan of Sol, Andy Iona, Louie Armstrong, Dick McIntire, Bing Crosby, etc etc.
Several LPs of Poss Miyazaki and others. All good stuff.
Wally Very Happy Cool
