Maybe made by Kay or Harmony. The only two I've seen
had a really strange "crackle" finish. |

The "Old Kraftsman" brand was sold by Montgomery Ward in the 40s. I had an archtop electric guitar back then which was an Old Kraftsman from Wards. I was a cheapie compared to the big name stuff, but played very easy with good action setup on the strings. |

Yup, you're correct MLA. The memory just got jogged. The Spiegel catalog was the source. The Airline was a Wards trade moniker, even table-top radios with plastic cabinets. Thanks for the catalog pix. |
