Just wanted to thank Louie, and Wayne Smith for giving Jerry a chance to bring Austin and play at the Dallas Show. The show went VERY WELL!!!!!!! Thanks to the Norris family and the TSGA for having us. Hope to get to come back again. Also I would like to thank Jerry Roller. He is always helping Austin and Jerry too. I know if you caught his set you enjoyed it. He always plays well. Thanks again.

Austin's mom ( Dana ) wanted me to thank everyone for being so nice to Austin. And to especially thank the ones that got out of bed so early in the morning to listen to him. That includes Bobby in his shorts and Toni with wet hair and no makeup!!!!!!!!! Thanks a million everyone.

Gayle & I were present for your set and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is such a great pleasure to see someone as young as Austin pick up the steel guitar. We hope that you and Austin can be on the Dallas show again next year. |

Austin, Jerry and the gang, I so enjoyed having you guys at the show. Thanks for helping with the flags, changing out the stage between players and every thing else you did to help make the Dallas show a success.
Like you,I was especially appreciative of the early morning crowd we had for Austin and Jerry's set. Largest Early morning crowd that I have seen on Saturday Morning.
I hope intoducing him to the crowd the night before helped. He did great.(Jerry you did too. [This message was edited by louie hallford on 10 March 2003 at 07:02 PM.] |

Jerry and Austin, "Great Set" on Saturday, as it is "Tremendous" to see and hear "GrandSon & GrandPa" on the same stage together playing so "Nicely Together"!!! I wonder who Austin considers his "Favorite SteelPlayer", aka "JR"!!!! Also Jerry Roller's set was "Excellent" also, as he had to follow you guys!!!
Also a "Special Thanks" to "Albert Talley and Louie Hallford" for an "Excellent TSGA" this Year, as their "Hard Work and Dedication" was quite evident to produce this "2003 TSGA"!!!

And don't forget ,grandmother was up there on that stage singing. It's great to see a close knit family do things together like that. Austin is making great progress and it's all because of the love and support he gets from his family and other people like Jerry Roller. I wish I lived close to him . Id be over there trying my best to help him in any way I could. He is a fine young man, and we need people like him to get intrested in the steel guitar. Thats the only way it can survive. Sorry about the lecture but I had to say this. |
