Just got an E mail from Floyd Jasper.... My new resonator is in the final stages of being built. He's having to wait for the humidity to lower so he can spray paint. Just thought ya=al would like to know. Might have it by the end of the month.. "pant pant".... Lee |

Floyd builds some killer guitars, and you don't have to beat 'em to be heard over the banjo players! And Floyd is a real good guy, too. |

Man, there was a beautiful Jasper at Lucky Star Guitars in Lethbridge, Alberta - I have been playing it every time I'm in town. These are lovely instruments. |

Yes I know. I played 2 of his instruments down in Arizona, one on stage. I fell in love with the sound and instrument. Floyd stopped and visited me twice when we lived in Rifle, Co. and yes he's a terrific player and person. Lee |

Hey, Lee I didn't notice that you were in Cheyenne! We used to play the old Cheyenne Club, just a few blocks from the Capitol building. It can't possibly still be there, can it? (I mean the club!) Great folks out there! |

I have the S/N 004 Jasper. Body is two kinds of rosewood - light rosewood on top and back, with dark rosewood sides. Since this is one his early guitars, the workmanship is not as good as the newer ones, but the sound is there. I recently put an ebony capped bridge on it to give it a little more 'punch' or brightness.
Please put picture of your new one on Forum and give us a report.
Thanx,
Jim |

I own a Jasper that I keep at a friend's farm in SE Ohio, so when I visit I don'e have to fly with one. I am happy with it. |
