When I saw JB live, he used a music stand turned backwards, leaned back just a little to hold his...Terry V.

Hi Terry,

I recall posting several years ago that I thought Jr. used a music stand and someone--I forget who--wrote that Jr.'s stand was much heavier.

CrowBear, you might search for the old thread. Or maybe someone will chime in. Does this mean that you have a guit-steel? Sounds like fun.

Best,

Bob

Thanx for your replies guys Very Happy

from what i understand, one has to make his own rather than find one ready made
are there any ready made ones ?

i posted this thread cause they're a few players here who are into the guit-steel & need info on a stand for it
so if anybody can steer us/me in the right direction, get down & do it

Thanx again Very Happy

Looks more like the top of a music stand mounted on a mic stand.

Yep... you're right... however, I think one of the heavy duty ones would do the job. There's another one that has the collapsing legs that I know is good enough to hold the guit-steel.

Here are some more pictures. It looks to me to be something heavier than a music stand; maybe a podium stand?
