Could someone tell me the dates of the St. Louis Steel Show this year? Also, any info about registering, etc. would be appreciated.

I'll be at the St. Louis show too! It'll be my first time because I've never been to the ISGC. I hear the ISGC show is the world's biggest steel guitar show and that a lot of steel players and steel companies are invited. I've always wanted to go to this show since I started playing steel guitar. It is also a good opportunity to see th pickers get inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame! I'm glad you asked for the dates, it inspired me to make reservations. The last convention I went to was in '86 or '87 and I have been booked that weekend every year since. This year I may have to quit the band but Lord willing we'll be in St. Louis.

Hey, Stoney, this forum is the greatest. We haven't made reservations yet. Tried to get info about the cost of rooms, but the wait on the phone for the Millenium Hotel was over 15 minutes and on our nickel. We decided to try again another time.

Hey Joe (sounds like a great song title) , try this number for the Millineum Hotel.
1-800-325-7353 then you can wait them out on "their nickle". Hope to see you there.

Many thanks, Roy. We've got reservations. They were full except for a block of rooms saved for the convention. We are really looking forward to it.
