Back in January I did a song on Extended Leavitt
and the tab and MP3 are now on my ClicTab Page
thanks to Ron Turner my host.

It is there for those interested in persuing the
further possibilities of the Leavitt Tuning and
please note that the set-up is on the first line
right hand side of Page 1.

I would like to acknowledge the late Bill Leavitt together with the works of Mike Ihde
and Bill Hatcher for the introduction and extension
ideas in regard this very versatile tuning.

Hello Roy,

I have been searching through the Forum looking for inspiration concerning my Fender D8 Stringmaster.

I have been impressed with the Leavitt tunings and would like to try them.

I have the tuning reading from Low to High as: -
C# E G Bb C D Eb G
Will you please advise me as to what string gauges I should use.

That is the set up I am using at present.
My guages are as follows:

1.G----.012
2.Eb---.015
3.D----.015
4.C----.017
5.B----.018
6.G----.022 Wound
7.E----.030
8.C#---.036
