"Swingin' West"- Mike Gross- Swing & Steel

Post by Mike Gross »

The weekly edition of "Swingin' West" is back on FM on WVOF, 88.5, Fairfield, Connecticut as well as worldwide on the Internet on Saturday afternoons from 2:00- 3:00 PM, eastern. This will start on Saturday August 2, 2008.

Although, these hour weekly shows will be prerecorded, they will be current and feature the same wonderful music and format as the Friday afternoon shows previously had featured. There will be lots of classic and contemporary Western Swing and lots of great musical surprises. The play lists can always be found in the “show” section of the “Swingin’ West” web site, www.swinginwest.com

The Saturday "Swingin' West" shows can heard by clicking the appropriate spot that is toward the bottom of the home page of the "Swingin' West" web site, www.swinginwest.com or on the web site of WVOF, www.wvof.org

Don’t forget the “Swingin’ West” www.twangtownusa.com show is always continuously available anytime, all month long and is changed during the second week of each month. That can be accessed anytime of the day or night by clicking the mouse on that appropriate spot toward the bottom of the home page of the "Swingin' West" web site, www.swinginwest.com

Thank You!

Welcome back, Mike.
It's only an hour, but I'm sure it will be tops.

Don,

Thanks buddy for the kind words. We got too much going on theses days so an hour a week is really all that I can handle. However, I have one of your fine original tunes "Travelin' Itch" on my August 2 show.

As most of you know who tried to get Mike's Saturday show there were some problems with the streaming.
But don't dispare you can still catch his Twangtown Show anytime of the day and night all month long.

Thanks, Don!

Yes, there was a problem with the weekly show this past Saturday. The station is going NPR and we have some techical problems but things should be worked out soon. However, for those that haven't caught the 24/7 Internet show it will change this weekend to a new one.
