Are there more pages from this site that pertain to (standard/lap) steel education?
Having a hard time navigating the site to find anything similar. |

Hey Ron,,here is a page from the site. Down near the bottom of the C6 stuff is "The Pocket Corner" "Minor Abrasions Pockets" and a cool blues song called Blues to Use. Parts of the song requires pedals but with a little thought you can work in something,,

Thank you, Sonny
I was hoping there would be significantly more tutalege by The Big E on the 'steel without pedals' style. |

Yes Ron,,actually I think that the reason I overlooked it for "years" is that it was intended for the C6 neck,,,but then it dawned on me that it was all pocket patterns (like Jeff Newmans OBAIL pattern) with no pedals,,and strings 2 thru 8 are the same as my 8 string C6. With the Major pockets and minor pockets together it's more than enough to last my lifetime,,,both single string stuff and tons of harmonies. |

Hey Sonny,I was in Seguin a couple weeks ago for a nephews wedding, I kept thinking I wish I knew where Sonny lived, I'd go check out his steels.
They sure are nice.
