Fender Hall Of Fame (Tempe, Arizona)

Post by Jody Carver »

I've received this information weeks ago from a friend who has since taken early retirement, however it was told to me that Bruce Springstein would have been inducted..The inductees are Bob Perine who was was respsonsible for the Fender advertising ad's such as You Wont Part with Your's Either.. Dan Smith head of the Custom Guitar Shop, Don Johnstone sales rep who came on after I did. I'm pleased to know that The Beach Boys were inducted and had hoped that Fender would have inducted those great steel players and endorsers of many years ago,Speedy West and Noel Boggs..I'm happy that my best friend Donald D.Randall finally made it after all those years last year and he had to wait until he was 90 years young to make it, Dale Hyatt, a Fender original and Fender's very first salesman was overlooked as well as my good friend Mike Cole..see here for the information..All nominations are done within the Fender Company and not as the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame as we know it to be.Bruce Burton and my friend Bill Carson..Congratulations to those who have been a part of the best of Fender..

Thanx...edited for spelling sorry.

Jody
You should be included in this group for all you have done for the Fender name.

Fender Hall Of Fame

Post by Hank Pell »

I Agree with Don Sulesky. Jody should have been inducted into the fender hall of fame. And i think he should have been inducted before Bruce Springsteen.Jody did a lot of promoting for the Fender Equipment, I know because I did some road trips with him. That four neck was pretty heavy & the fender twin also.

those steelers you mention Jody, as well as others ( we know who they are) should be in Fender hall of fame considering Leo was catering to them long before he came out w: the Tele & Strat

my best wishes to ya' Sir Knight of Tweed ;-)

Jody Carver is legendary when it comes to mentioning the Fender name. Should have been in years ago. If Gene Fields is not in, he should be for all his work for Fender. Jody.

Wonder why there wasn't a Fender Hall Of Fame when Leo was still running the company??

Jody's been having a lot of problems with his PC lately! We usually correspond several times a day, but; lately his email has dwindled away and when I try to call him there's no answer on his phone and no answering machine either! So, i'm hoping that is the reason he hasn't been Posting any Replies here. I'll just have to keep trying and hope everything is ok with him personally! PC problems is one reason I'll just stick to my WebTv! A little slow-going, but; no major problems!!

Hank
We have about as much chance to see an EZ button as seeing gas at $2.00 a gallon again in our lifetime.
