Thank you Greg; great rendition. This was the first tune that I requested Jay Dee Maness to play about 40+ years ago. Someone had told me about Jay Dee, so I went to the club he was playing, met him and his father and life has been great ever since. He was playing a D8 ShoBud that had a fantastic tone; of course with Jay Dee, any steel is going to sound great. I often wonder what happened to that guitar?

Brian,
You pick the notes at fret 13, then press the pedals without re-picking the strings, then re-pick the strings without the pedals. If you are using Windows Media Player or any other software that allows you to slow it down, just play it at half speed and you can hear the pedal press and the re-pick after it. Excellent question and I had to listen to it slowed down myself to make sure the tab was correct!

I'm a new member and I just wanted to say thanks for that tab, Greg. That really helped me out. I've only been playing steel for a very short time and this was the first song I learned from playing a tab sheet. I still haven't got the chorus down yet, but I have the verse figured out. Just wanted to say thanks. I look forward to checking out your other tabs!
