Absolutely STUNNING, I mean GAWGOUS! No words can describe what I'm feeling right now. I'm totally speechless from looking at those pictures. Yes, we'll all have to gree. . .there's nothing better than seeing a brand new Emmons guitar and knowing theres without a doubt IT's THE VERY BEST!
Gary be proud fellow, I'd rather have that guitar than any other brand being built today. Wise choice on your part. Now get to playin that thang!

I agree with my Buddy Nick. He took the words right out of my mouth.

I wouldn't have pronounced the word GAWGOUS exactly like him, but I agree with everything he said.

Worth waiting for. Gary, Your new black Emmons is elegant.

That's my axe! Except mine is an L2 and it's got 4 pedals.

Emmons is getting a call first thing tomorrow.

The Emmons Sound For Sure

Post by Gary Preston »

:) Well the baby was born around 3:00 am Saturday morning . She is doing fine ! We were there for the birth . With a little pampering she will be out and about very soon for the public to see . L.O.L. Just let me say this about Ron and Rebecca they made us feel at home at the shop . They even took us out for dinner at a great restaurant . I took the Grand Tour of the Emmons Factory . They still have some of the vinyl recordings of Ron Senior and Jimmy Day along with others . They also have the ''Black '' cover album of Buddie Emmons in the cd form . The one with Witches Brew . I have been playing Sho~Buds for over 30 years and it will take me a little while to make the adjustment to the Emmons ,( maybe not ) it feels pretty good at this point ! This is the first guitar that i have ever seen that didn't have any cabinet drop at all . I put a tuner on it and couldn't believe my eyes ! The needle on the tuner didn't move at all . I told my buddie Rick Johnson ( Johnson cabinets ) to look at this for a witness ! '' O '' cabinet drop ! Amazing huh ? This is my first Emmons guitar and first black with micca finish . She's a beauty if i may say so myself . I can't wait till our group plays again to try her out . My buddie Rick nicknamed her ''Black Beauty '' and that she is . Ok so much for the bragging ! Thanks all for your comments . Best regards to all . G.P.

Gary
I'm glad you and Patty came by
and spent the night, your new
guitar is really sweet.

It makes me want another guitar
but my wife says I have the best
sounding Push/Pull ever built.

I wonder does she really know or
is she just trying to humor me

:D Rick the women have a way of saying ''NO WAY MISTER ''! We had a great time visiting with you and ''D'' . I was thinking that you were playing a trick on me when i walked down the steps and saw that ''Black Beauty '' was gone ! I was waiting to hear that someone broke in and stole your new guitar ! But the picture says it all ,thanks ole buddie . I have the backing plate on and it looks great . I did a little modifying on it and it is on the guitar looking proud , thanks lots . G.P.
P.S don't forget the magazine that has Mr. Nashville Sound in it . I will pay you for it when you come up .

Excuse me. But are those chromed crossrods?

If yes, were they custom, or is that now standard for Emmons' LeGrandes?

Nobody answered the phone Monday. Tuesday we got Bobbie about 10:30 central. She said Ron would call. As of 9 PM central today I have heard exactly nothing.

My wait is 72 weeks as of today.

:D Well i got to sit down and play more last night and this guitar is so sweet sounding . This steel really is amazing to me how it rings so clear . In my opinion this guitar was money well spent . I might add that Ron and Rebecca were so good to us while we were there at the factory . I think Rebecca said that they are going to be at St.Louis for Scottys show . I'm sure they will have some new guitars on display . G.P.
