Need a Pro model upgrade!
Hi There, bought a Carter Starter about 4 months ago to see if I would "take" to the world of pedal steel. Since then I have not been able to put it down. Need to upgrade to a steel that's a little more responsive. The Carter is the only steel I've EVER played. It sounds great but something is lacking on the response time or "action" of the pedals, and I've had the F lever problem everyone else has had. What do you guys think? I've got a budget of about $1300, looking for a S-10 3X3 or 3x4.
The ones on the "for sale" section get snatched up TOO quick, and I'm afraid of EBay.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. Is there Anybody who lives in Oregon or Washington who knows of ANY PSG dealers in the Pac. Northwest?

Hey Charles
I might even work out some sort of trade for your Carter Starer.

ZB's have tone to die for! (check out Tom Brumley's stuff). Tough to work on, but once set-up....they're very stable

Thanks Daniel, but I'm looking for something without the arm rest, as I'm planning to be mobile. But I'm not stuck to that. I'll let you know.
I could probably retrieve a decent majority of the cash I spent on the starter locally, as there seems to be a good amount of interest the PSG round here, and none for sale.
Tony, that ZB looked awesome but sold a little too quick, I don't get up that early!

BMI 3 x 4 Professional model
Charles,
I have a BMI available. It is a pro model. They are great guitars. It is a 3 pedal x 4 knee levers.
It is an S-10 (w/o the arm pad). It is black mica. Real nice guitar. If you want I can email you pics.
I can let it go for $1,100.00. Plus freight of $60.00
I have been playing for over 35 years and buying and selling pedal steels for around 2 years now. I sell quite a few on the forum and never a complaint. I do have some Shobud Pro 1's but they only have 2 knee levers.
Let me know.

BMI sold to Charles
Charles,
For the price,. considering the volume pedal I threw in, you can't go wrong. And with the 4 knee levers.
Enjoy the guitar.
