MSA S-12 Classic in Europe Summer 2017- pedigreed and loaded

Post by Mylos Sonka »

MSA S-12 for sale in Annecy, France - available for viewing 22 July to 15 Aug 2009.

I am selling this great guitar because my back just doesn't appreciate it as much as the rest of me does. I have decided to get a Millenium and I must raise cash.

It has 8 pedals and 5 knees. Included will be the original Supersustain, a George L pickup, hard case and many miscellaneous parts. You will notice from the extra control knobs that this guitar has additional features. These are factory installed features not usually found on MSAs of this vintage because this guitar was one Reece Anderson had built for himself. He told me some years back that he played this guitar until a rush order came in from Chicago. He then had another just like it built for himself-- the green one on the cover of Bradshaw's Steel Guitarist Magazine.

I am reducing the price to NOW 1600 Euros firm for this guitar, which is I think a very fair price for a guitar of this vintage and pedigree.

I will be in France this year between July 22nd and August 15th. I will be in Annecy, near Geneva until after the Fete du Lac on the second weekend of the month. The guitar can be seen at my apartment there.

I will get a SIMs chip for my cellphone after I arrive on the first, and I can respond to European inquiries then. Until then please contact me at mylossonka@comcast.net or before July 15th at country code 1 (415) 927-1099.

PS I'm having trouble getting pics to post, but last summer I posted some. You can access them easily by searching "Mylos Sonka" under the "Instruments for Sale" section. There you will find some comments about the pedigree and quality of this guitar. You can also email me and I will send you more pics directly.

contact info in France

Post by Mylos Sonka »

I am now in France for couple of weeks longer. I can be reached on my cellphone until the 15th of August at 06 71 84 06 75.

Please feel free to make an offer. My price was based on the value of the dollar-to-Euro of about 15 months back, and I (only too painfully) realize the dollar sucks-- though on the other hand I can get more of them with fewer Euros than back then.

I check my email every couple of days, too:

Dwight-If I remember those are Volume and Tone controls, a Bypss switch for them, and controls for the built in Fuzz tone. A real nice guitar, I have had a couple over the years...al.:) 8)

Haven't been to France for a few years now but will be back soon, so I am renewing my interest in selling this guitar, which I keep in a closet in Annecy France, near Geneva.

Hi - It is in France at the moment. The current exchange rate for 1600 Euros is 1,959.95 US Dollars. I'd consider bringing it back with me next time I visit, but I'd ask you to pay for the overweight airport fee. If you live close enough to the Bay Area in California that'd be a help too!

Thanks for your interest. I love this guitar. Vance Terry was a pal of mine and I have some pictures of him playing it in my living room.

Myles, thanks for the info, but with the extra fees it probably would be a little too much for me....thanks jack
