Larry, I'd sure like to know that too - I ordered one at the local GC months ago and haven't heard a thing.
Maybe if you edit your post and put Mike Brown's name in the header he'll see it and jump in with an update.

Larry, I've wondered the same thing. I'm supposed to have an endorsement deal with Peavy, but have been unable to get any answers from anybody over there about the new lap steels.

I was wondering about this the other day. I have some sweet light weight Swamp Ash that would be perfect for a standup steel.
