Wish Me Luck
Well ,for a 66 year old man I'm acting like a 6 year old getting their firsr bicycle. Next week my Stage One should be here and I can hardly wait . I made a music room out of one of the bedrooms ,got the amp, seat, tv, dvd cd player , music stand, speakers and everything else that I may never need . The steel has always been my favorite but just now after retirement do I get a chance to try and learn to play one .I know odds are that I will not get out of the house with it . But I just want to be able to play well enough for my own enjoyment . Pray for me that I can reach that goal. Ron Patrick

StageOne
Hi Ron, I've got one coming, too. I'm curious when you placed your order. Mine must be getting close, hehe, I can't wait. I hate to bother Doug, cause I know he's gotta be busy building guitars. I've been playing a little while, and I ordered my Stage One on sheer Zumsteel confidence. I've never seen one in person. My back's not what it used to be and I needed a lighter guitar. I've heard nothing but praise for Doug Earnest and the Stage One guitar.

Hi Rick, I ordered mine on May 16 . I think we both went the right way with the Stage One . Before I ordered mine, I asked the question to the Forum Members what they would buy just starting out and the Stage One was the pick of most. My teacher's choice also .The only draw back is it doesn't have the pad to rest your arms . For a old man I don't know if this will be a problem or not . I think the pad makes the guitar's appearence look sharp . But for the price you can't get everything . Ron

Armrest
Ron, I found a guy that will custom make an armrest for your Stage One. I'm gonna order one as soon as my guitar arrives, so I can get the measurements right. Here's his email address. donald.blood@verizon.net I think the cost is $85
