Frenchie Burke Show
I will be teaming up with Jeff Chance and Travis Smith of the "Farewell Party Band", as well as some other fine players to back our "Dad", Fiddlin' Frenchie Burke on December 5th at the Freeport, Texas Eagles Hall. These shows are always a lot of fun for all of us, so if you're in the area, come on out and see us. Thanks, JC

All I know is if you play with Frenchie, you must be able to play at warp speed! Everything he does is blazing. Black Mountain Rag, John Pierre Borduex (SP), Big Mamou. I used to back him with my band in the mid-70's. I remember Jerry Starr playing with him from the D/FW area. He was always fast as hell.

Tonight Frenchie will be at the Tin Star in Giddings Tx. Johnny Lyon will open, then look out for old Frenchie! 9PM is the start time and one of my long time idols will be playing steel Don Sowersby.

For those of you who might be interested, Robbie Springfield is living in Viola, Arkansas now. The reason I know is because he bought a pedal from me a little over a year ago. His recording with Frenchy is some of the best fast steel playing ever recorded.
[This message was edited by Keith Hilton on 29 November 2002 at 04:42 PM.]
