I'm working on the discography for my book on lap steel. Does anyone know of in print CDs on which Kayton Roberts appears?

Are you looking for just instrumental appearances, or appearances with Hank Snow and other performers? If the former, check out Joe Goldmark's book; if the latter, check out http://www.allmusic.com .

Andy ,

I think I remember that Kayton and Herb Remington did at least one recording together at a studio in the Houston area some years ago .

You can contact Herb @ A/C/ 713 -923- 8435 .
He might have a copy of that session that he would sell you . Don't know if it is on cassette or C.D.

I hope this helps !

Thanks, all. John, that cassette was called "From Houston to Nashville" and was produced by Russ Rask, Editor of the former SGW Magazine. Herb and Kayton played superbly but the material seemed kind of lame and at least IMHO, the whole seemed less than the sum of its parts.
