Do you realize that only .0375% of the people viewing this thread actually respond to it? :?

For those who do not respond: Nothing said, Nothing gained. ;-) ;-)

FINALLY, we have reached the realm of philosophy.

A light bulb goes off
Equations are formed:
Nothing lasts forever. Therefore nothing is eternal.
Thus, nothing is sacred.
Farris finally reveals the depths of his insights.

As a philosopher, nothing bothers me.

Pretty lady reaffirms the notion that there's a plus side to "nothing"...

Nothing can lead to "something" if nothing is in the right place...

As a philosopher, I'm wondering exactly what it is about nothing that bothers you. ;-)

Yes, Tamara. I left it open for the viewer to decide on the wheels or the lassie's lovely eyes.

The subject seems to be meandering towards SOMETHING.

I have to remind you that NOTHING is NOT THE OPPOSITE OF SOMETHING, it's the ABSENCE of it,

My theory is that 75% of all statistics are made up.

Since that statement can be shown to be either true or false to a high degree of probability (obviously not ALL statistics can be checked), it is a hypothesis and NOT a theory.

And yet that theory neither proves not disproves the null hypothesis, so what are we left with????

I betcha can't guess... Hint: It begins with an "n"..., can often be preceeded by the word "absolutely", and was what the alchemists got when they tried to turn lead into gold...

Few statistics are made up. But they are all selected and processed - garbage in, garbage out. Or, more appropriate for this thread - nothing meaningful in, nothing meaningful out. :?
